Six Factors Backing up China’s Foreign Trade, Over 80 Products’ Output Leaping to First in The World

Yu Guangzhou, Vice Minister of Commerce, said on July, there were six factors to support good development of China’s foreign trade.

Yu analyzed that the six factors included:

Effective macro control; the recovery of world economy and improved international climate; increased domestic investment and prosperous import; interaction of FDI and trade; deepening system reform and structure adjustment and enhanced export competitiveness; reform of export tax refund mechanism and improved policy environment.


According to Customs, import and export totaled US$ 523 bln from Jan to Jun, up 39.1% year-on-year, of which export was US$ 258.1 bln, up 35.7%; import US$ 264.9 bln, up 42.6%.
